It's quite alright my fine French friend. By the way I would like to thank your people for aiding my country to be able to revolt against the imperial powers that oppressed us back in the 4th quarter of the 1700's. Also, thank you for all the fine enrichment your people have provided my culture over the years, such as the Statue of Liberty among others.
I would also like to take this time and apologize for the current trend of ignorant Americans that have forgotten all the wonderful things you've done for all of us over the years simply because your government chose not to support the war that we were dragged into under false presences. I salute you and the French people, for your deeds and accomplishments have been noble and, dare I say it, would make even your founder Charlemagne the Great proud.
I still eat French Fries, not those so-called "freedom fries" that people of bigoted minds consume.
